EADI NORDIC 2017 was a joint partnership between EADI (European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes), NFU (Norwegian Association of Development Research), the University of Bergen (UiB) and the Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI).

The conference was kindly sponsored by the Research Council of Norway, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Target Groups

The conference targets scholars, students, practitioners and policy-makers within the broad field of development research:

  • Researchers and students
  • Members of development agencies
  • Representatives of governmental, non-governmental agencies
  • Representatives of civil society organisations

Conference Format

The format will be interactive, with plenaries, panels and working group sessions. Presentations and papers will be available online.
